The Scott Morris State Farm Agency is seeking a results-driven Insurance Account Representative who thrives in a production-focused environment and is motivated by performance, growth, and earnings. This role is ideal for a competitive sales professional who enjoys outbound activity, converting leads, and building a strong book of business.

This is a licensed position requiring Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Candidates who are not yet licensed may be considered, with full support provided to obtain licensing quickly.

Role Overview

As an Insurance Account Representative, your primary focus will be new business production. You will actively engage prospects, uncover insurance needs, and present tailored solutions that drive agency growth. Success in this role is measured by activity, conversion, and results.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively generate new business through outbound calls and follow-up activity

  • Present insurance quotes and coverage solutions to prospective clients

  • Convert warm and cold leads into bound policies

  • Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline

  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximize revenue

  • Maintain relationships that support long-term retention and referrals

  • Track activity and results to meet and exceed performance goals

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales-first mindset with a proven ability to hit or exceed targets

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and closing skills

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

  • Prior experience in sales or insurance preferred

  • Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses, or willingness to obtain quickly with agency support

  • Self-motivated, competitive, and accountable work style
